Trans person Ines Rau, 32, is rumored to be the soccer professional's new girlfriend

The soccer player Kylian Mbappé is said to have found love in ten years older Ines Rau, who is known, among other things, for having become the first trans person to front the cover of Playboy Magazine.

PSG star Kylian Mbappé was earlier this year with actress Emma Smet, but they broke up in the spring.

Shortly afterward, Mbappé met the woman who is now identified as his new girlfriend, the 32-year-old model Ines Rau.

If the name sounds familiar, it's because in November 2017, Rau became the first trans person ever to grace the cover of Playboy.

This is Ines Rau – the woman identified as Mbappé's new girlfriend

Ines Rau was born with the legal gender male and - inspired by the story of Bond actress Caroline Cossey - underwent gender confirmation treatment at the age of 16. But she only came out at 24 years old.

“I feel that my self is finally free. Like the cell I've been sitting in for so long has finally opened. Now I am completely and utterly a woman," Ines Rau wrote about coming out in her autobiography, according to Sportsbrief .

Her career began with her working as a dancer in Ibiza, where she became friends with, among other things, the world-famous DJ David Guetta, before she started working as a model.

She became world famous after her appearance in Playboy in 2017 and has long been active in the issue of transgender rights.

So Kylian Mbappé and Ines Rau became a couple

According to several Italian media, including Corriere dello Sport , Ines Rau and Kylian Mbappé met in connection with the Cannes Film Festival held in May.

After that, they are said to have dated secretly for several months, but now, among others, the magazine Sportmediaset has caught the couple in a picture where they hang out on a luxury yacht.
