Death of Queen Elizabeth II: AMLO sends condolences to the royal family and friends

AMLO highlighted that Queen Isabell II was sovereign of 14 independent states, he also extended his condolences to the family and friends of the British monarch.

Before the death of Queen Elizabeth II, this Thursday afternoon in the United Kingdom, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), sent his condolences to the British people, as well as to the royal family and friends of the sovereign

Through social networks, AMLO wrote, "I send my condolences to the peoples of the United Kingdom for the death of Queen Elizabeth II, British monarch and sovereign of 14 independent states. In the same way, I extend them to his family, friends, and members of the Royal House”.

The Foreign Ministry mourned the death of Queen Elizabeth II

The Mexican government mourned the death of the Queen of England, Elizabeth II. Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard sent " our thoughts and condolences  to the people and government of the United Kingdom through his Twitter account."

This message was replicated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), which sent a few brief words to the United Kingdom.

“The government of Mexico, through the SRE, expresses its most sincere condolences to the people of the United Kingdom for the sensitive death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the head of state of the British countryside.

The official announcement was made by the Royal Family through its Twitter account, detailing that “the Queen died peacefully in Balmoral (Scotland) this afternoon. The King and Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral tonight and return to London tomorrow."

The embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom sends condolences

Josefa González Blanco, the Mexican ambassador to the United Kingdom, replied to the message from Foreign Relations and sent her condolences to the Royal Family.

"My deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the British people on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, a deeply important woman and inspiration to so many for so long," the ambassador wrote on Twitter.
